This 24 inch monitor from the land of HP, the HP LP2475w is a beauty. To look at it, you would think that this is going to cost a fortune, but you would be wrong. Not only does the LP2475w perform as you would expect one of the high end monitors to, it has the price associated with those of far inferior models.

The monitor itself is a nice square, which gives it that professional look, and the base it sits on is elegant and seems it could hold up a house. The stand has full adjustment which includes a nice 45 degree swivel, copious amounts of tilt and it has height adjustment too. Enhancing the professional look of this monitor, HP have done away with the piano gloss black and gone for a satin black finish.

This monitor comes packaged with a plethora of cables, so you know it is going to have a huge gamut of connectivity, and on the back you will find them as listed:

HDMI

2 x DVI

DisplayPort

Component

Composite

S-Video

1 x USB In

6 x USB Out

Setting this monitor up is relatively straight forward. There are lots of options, as you would expect for a monitor with this amount of connectivity, and the menus are clear so navigation is no problem, and the options are clearly identified, even giving you an option for backlight hours.

For what this can do and the sheer professionalism it oozes, the HP LP247w is an affordable alternative to the big players which are twice the price. Go for it!
